Agree with you there. If they weren't using some established characters, I might not have watched all of the first season.

That would seem to be a cause close to her heart.

Reading through previous comments: Am I the only one who kinda enjoyed it?
Some aspects seemed a bit forced but overall I liked the glimpse in his life and what has become of him... and Seven...
I would have liked them to take a little more time to develop the story but I am curious to see how it will continue.

Kia - I'm glad you enjoyed it. I kept watching it because of Picard, but it never really grabbed me.

It was the only show that I always watched directly when a new episode aired
Haven't had that in a long time... but then must shows are released in bulk

Tracey, I hadn't read anything about it beforehand so my heart skipped a beat when Seven appeared... showed me once more that I actually liked her character but the writers led me astray in the last Voyager season
Like that borg... just not between Janeway and her man

You must have really enjoyed it then.

It was nice to see Seven again and to know that she'd found a purpose out of Starfleet.

Yes, and I also liked the fact that her human side seems to have bubbled to the surface quite a bit more. She is a real badass

I enjoyed seeing Seven again. And Troi and Riker. I just felt like hardly anything happened in most episodes, and the characters were hard to relate to.
