It looks a bit weird. I think often staying with classic looks is the best way to go for a company (no matter the field their products are in).

Maybe it's some kind of Romulan samurai sect? I hope they don't twist the Romulans too much, I didn't like what they did with the Klingons in Discovery.

Me neither. I was glad the second season moved beyond that.

I like that they went with them having hair and beards again. Though the explanation (shaving heads and beards for war) is absolutely not in line with classic klingon ideals of valuing their hear/beards as sign of honour.
