Yeah! In hindsight I also admired that there were two paintings for two androit daughters.

In the book timeline romolus never got destroyed, but a civil war split up the romulan empire into two fractions. I'm still not sure if I'll like the show, honestly I think they should've followed the book continuity, bc that has a lot of potential.

Glad not alone on not picking up that parallel but it is a wonderful one of the two paintings relating to 2 twin daughters

Actually quite good overall, I've also watched the second episode now, which was a bit slow though.

I prefer the top one. I like the historical building details with the arches and windows in the background.
