Yeah, you'd think the networks would do their best to get some new shows on.

I finally had a chance to get back to my DSC rewatch, and have to say that having spoilery foreknowledge changes a lot of things about Michael and Amanda's conversations about Spock in "Point of Light" in ways that I find really compelling as a "meta narrative".

Even within an individual episode, knowing how it's going to end often makes small details I originally missed stand out.

Enjoy your rewatch!

I wonder if they plan to keep the discovery in the future forever and hence explain spock not having a sister in TOS.

That would be a good option. The bit about Michael being Spock's adopted sister did come out of the blue.

They could find a way back to their time of course, but maybe also not.

On a personal level, it's hard to think of them stranded in the future.

Part of me doesn't like to see time travel become a revolving door.

I think all of the series have had time travel episodes. I just don't like the premise that they can time travel back so easily once it's happened.

exactly. If it's so easily done, than why doesn't it happen more often? And then you get the whole issue of possible changes in the timeline due to their actions.
