Michelle Yeoh was the main reason I started watching this latest incarnation of Star Trek. I love her movies!

Yes! The Captain/Commander bond Philippa and Michael shared was so special!

On the flip side, I love the Emperor because she rose to power and has been able to keep it, adopt a daughter, and guided her to make her strong and unafraid to be savage.

Our Philippa had high hopes for Michael, could actually see her as Captain one day. It stands to reason that the Emperor had the same view of her Michael. Mirror Michael was her legacy in the Empire. When it comes right down to it, I think the Emperor just wants her daughter back, and will rely on Michael to ensure that Lorca doesn't succeed in a second attempt to take the throne.

I love that quote from Philippa. I thought it the best one to use!

thanks for starting this thread! I love her too! I was upset when they killed her off os quickly but so glad that they brought her back. I would love for them to find a way for her to stay on the show. As long as she doesn't keep eating other races of people

I would love for them to find a way for her to stay too!!! Michelle is an amazing actress!!! I loved her when she was a Bond Girl... but I love her all the more now that she's a Star Trek Captain! Plus, BONUS!! She's the Terran Emperor!! I love her all the more!
