I really liked the way they showed her realizing that there was a better way than ruling by fear and violence. Also that she was so determined to give Michael more chances to make different choices.

- I didn't need all the torture and violence

- nice scenes between Georgiou & Saru

- we see Reno again! "You're not allowed food in here" ... "it's not food, it's candy"

- Book proving his worth by coming up with the solution. Also that he mentioned the advantages of being associated with, but not officially a part of Starfleet to the Admiral

- the Guardian of Forever was a nice shout out to TOS & The City on the Edge of Forever

- loved that they continued to mention Lorca.

- nice to see the whole crew paying tribute to Georgiou at the end. " She was a tormenter but a truth teller" sums her up nicely.

Completely agree with that assessment.

Dave - for top villains, don't forget the Borg, Cardassians, Species 8472. To me, Q wasn't a villain, maybe more a bully.

Mirror Burnham lacked vision. She lacked the desire to build something greater than herself. Philippa set out to take the throne with a desire to expand, to leave her mark on the universe as the greatest Emperor to rule the Empire.

I'm going to watch this two parter again! It was so amazing!

Whew! That was great! Such good pacing and loved the tragedy at the end. Also fun to see the time donut from TOS again.

Just watched this. Very good episode. A bit bitter sweet to see Philippa leave though.

Glad you enjoyed it. Agree that it's sad to think that we won't see Phillipa again.

It was a beautiful send off though. She learned the mirror universe will never be her home again, and she has made peace with that. She even got to see that no matter what she did, she would always lose her Michael. And, I think she made peace with that at the end too.

It was wonderful to see her acknowledge that ruling through terror isn't really all that effective in the long term. And yes, it was lovely to see how much she truly cares for Michael.

I really want to know where she was sent? Like which time and which world?
