I probably won't be on today... cleaning and need to make an important decision in the next few days; microwave is working...but it's not microwaveing/ heating up...

how long can I go without a microwave? and If I do decide to get a microwave... do I go Amazon or Walmart. Bing Search Rewards actually does give 5 dollar gift card credit sponsored by Walamrt from earing points with Bing.com

Good luck making your decision. I wouldn't want to be without my microwave. I use it daily. They've really come down a lot in price over the years. Maybe you'll find one on sale?

I use my microwave every day too...mainly to warm up coffee and food... I found one for 50... and have about 40,000 in Bing points which 40 dollars..... so yea, I'll get one this week at some point. As for warming coffee... just pour the cold coffee back into the coffee maker and let it warm up

Dave - it's good for a variety of restaurants owned by the same company. Harvey's is a burger joint, Swiss Chalet features roasted chicken, or Kelsey's has a more varied menu. We often go to one of those when we're in the city.

I warm up coffee or tea in the microwave too. The coffeemaker is old and doesn't keep the coffee hot for an extended period. The first cup is perfect, but for the second cup I need to warm it up.

Chris-- a few updates : Walmart only lets you have 20 walmart credit in the online account ...so I had to print out 5 gift cards and will have to go to Walmart tmorrow… well this week or whenever I would have had to go to Walmart b/c I like to go to the store to pick up online orders...the rare times I do it

Also, it was a fuse that blew inside the microwave that casused it. you can buy a new fuse...but no idea where...and fixing it is a pain

Hubby could fix it for you. He's an electrician. Unfortunately that's not a viable option. You could probably buy the fuse at Amazon, but you're probably as far ahead to buy a new one.

unless you know of somebody moving who plans to get rid of their current microwave and replace it with a new one.

Chris...you are correct...I wasn't doing anything outside of watching basketball and posting and it was a nice day....so I walked to Walmart and got a new one.... using 25 dollars worth of printed Walmart gift cards. I took the bus back

DavE: Pizza was good, like I remembered... Was disappointed that the store was out of my unsalted crackers again though, seem to run out of those a fair bit...

Yeah, one of the characters someone else played died and probably won't be able to bring them back. So I'm currently the highest level character in the group, the person that died is now coming back probably next week with a new character at a 2 level disadvantage (same level as the lowest level person in the group)

Almost in a situation where we could have had a total party kill earlier in the session when we were out exploring in areas that we had never been to before.
