Wow! Glad to have them back where they belong. Sort of.

- Lorca had obviously been gone for some time, but automatically assumed that he had the same level of support as when he left?

- LOVED Michael telling Lorca that he could have her mind but not her body!!

- Nice scenes of Michael & Philippa working together

- have to wonder if the dead thrown into the Mycilleum network will still be around in some capacity

- at first it didn't make sense that Michael would want to bring Emperor Philippa back, but now that we know the Klingons prevailed, I guess it does. The Emperor's knowledge of tactics should come in useful in getting that sorted out.

- LOVED Captain Saru! He's really stepping up, and if I'm honest, I never really seen him as having command authority before

- the scenes of Paul and Tilly were nice.

It's not 16 episodes, is it, but just 15?

Any idea why JA's name is spelled wrong in the tags?

Yes, just two more episodes, but it has been renewed for a second season.

Whoops! I'll see about getting that fixed. Thanks for mentioning it.

I didn't think so much about the Klingon war, but of Michael not wanting to see Philippa die again.

So both Lorcas are now dead. It sounds like our Lorca was executed for Mirror Lorcas' crimes when their transporter signals were crossed. I agree with Chris and I think that Mirror Lorca may be back at some point since he was incinerated into the mycelium network.

I wonder if Mirror Michael will ever make an appearance now. I don't think Mirror Lorca was upset with her being gone because he had our Michael to replace her. I was expecting her to return in the last ep if she was still alive. Judging how Lorca got into our universe I don't think that Mirror Michael is probably there.

Saru made a much better Captain than I was expecting to be honest. He never really seemed capable of being in charge prior to this ep. But I am glad that he stepped up to the plate and did such a great job.

I loved that Michael held to her ideals and didn't execute Lorca herself. Plus it allowed Mirror Philippa to get her revenge and come out on top.

I love that Michael grabbed Philippa when she beaming and that she's now in our universe. I LOVE Michelle so having her on the show more will be great.

So did the ships switch places in the universes again? I wonder if the Mirror Discovery is part of the reason the war was lost.

I love that Michelle will be back for more! I will admit I was bummed out after the second episode because Philippa was dead, and that meant no more Michelle. BOY WAS I SURPRISED! And I love her as the Emperor more than I did as the Captain! LOL!

This was a very good episode.

I loved the fight scenes.

I agree with others on here that I was pleasantly surprised at Saru's command presence.

Very surprising that Michael decided to side with the Emperor, but it'll be interesting to see how her presence will influence the story.

Lorca seemed to take over remarkably easily.

It was very tense watching them make the jump back home.

I'm unclear as how the spore network drive allows time travel as well....

Okay, I have to ask, because I rewatched the scene and was reminded again...

When Phillipa stabbed Lorca with the sword, and Lorca stumbled over to Michael and said "we... we could've...", did anyone else go 'we could've had it aaaaaaaaaallll, rolling in the deep...' or was it just me?

But yeah, I had the impression that Lorca felt that he and Burnham made a great team

Me too. Maybe by a few days, but months?

Completely agree. With this episode, him being first officer actually makes sense.

I take it you were more than a little annoyed at that development.

When they explained that the mycilleum network is life, and if it dies, everything dies, it makes me wonder if people pushed in there might be seen again.
