It was a good eppy

- I did like the conflict Michael had at the beginning of the eppy, wondering if she can do the mission
- I love Lily in trying to get Stamets back, her confidence really grew throughout the eppy and her shipper heart shining through there .
- Glad to see Sarek in the eppy and also him finding out that Michael is good. I must say the Klingon being the leader surprised me..
- Aww "Stamets" holding Culber
- I'm glad that Ash finally got found out, but like Mel said, still don't understand how and why it was done..
- Lovely scenes between Lily and Saru in getting Stamets back.
- Really liked the scenes also with Michael and Lorca, helping her find her way so to speak..
- Glad that Stamets is alive somewhere..
- I must admit the person being the Emperor, did see that coming...

I can skate over what they've done to the Klingon appearance... but they way they SPEAK!! OMG!! especially when they say Khaless... and make it sound like Khalesh! It makes my ears bleed!

The appearance still bugs me. I don't really notice the language since I wouldn't understand it anyways.

One Thing Remains

I finally got to watch this episode last night.

I agree with those of you who don't like the Ash storyline. It's hard for me to understand or buy that they were able to overlay a Klingon personality into him by redesigning his body from the inside out. Plus I just don't like what the storyline is doing to the character. I hope they are able to eliminate the Klingon overlay. I'm sure it will take time though.

I am glad that Michael and the crew of the Discovery now know that Ash has been compromised and that he was the one who Culber. I didn't like Saru thinking that it could possibly Stamets.

I am so glad that Stamets seems like he could possibly be making a recovery. I think he definitely died though and managed to come back from the dead thanks to his connection with spores. And I think he ran into himself from the mirror dimension so that probably means that Mirror Stamets has died as well. I am so intrigued to see where this storyline goes and what Stamets is now.

I think Sarek definitely knows that Michael is not from their dimension. The memories she had would not line up based on his experiences. I wonder if he will be an ally in the future. Michael is going to need some help getting out of the mess they are in.

I think the torture is changing Captain Lorca and I think it may have long term effects on him. Hopefully he will be able to leave the Mirror dimension before too much damage is done.

And I have to say I love that Philippa is the emperor! I wasn't expecting that but I think it's going to really mess with Michael's head.

With DS9, when Klingons would speak, it was gutteral, but it was also easy to listen to.

Discoveries Klingon language is too harsh, the words run together too much to make out what is actually being said without the subtitles.

and right now it seems both the boys are dead
