From the screen caps, it looks like Stamets is definitely suffering from the effects of being connected to the spore drive. And that we'll get more of Michael and Ash.

Started to watch last night but was interrupted by a phone call. I'll have to watch it through later.

I've watched it and I thought this was the best eppy's they have done so far apart from one Big thing...

- So they are in a parallel universe.....and they have swapped places with the other Discovery which is in there world...I must admit I thought they were in Borg space, so I got that wrong..
- A renegad force is out and about and doesn't like humans...
- So Tily is Captain in this universe , I really like that Michael and the Captain gave her faith so she can be seen as the Captain of the ship. I did like everytime she was in Captain mode, she breathed a deep breath afterwards
- Poor Ash, what the dickens has gone on with him , so I'm getting this right there is a Klingon inside Ash with his bone structure and personality
- Lovely scene with Michael and Ash in the mess hall and I thought he was going to tell her!, he should have done..
- Aww Culber and Stamets , Culber being there and helping Stamets anyway he can
- Stamets waking up for a second when Culber kissed him
- So Loca is now a prisoner and Michael kicking into being a Captain of her own ship!, I hope Michael doesn't get power hungry and tries to get the Captain out ASAP...

So now the big thing, I cannot believe they killed off Culber, that is ridiculous and did it for shock value only...such a stupid reason and yet another show kills off a gay character for really no reason..

Such poor writing and I'm annoyed at this

Tilly as Captain was cracking me up. She did awesome at playing it tough for those minutes here and there that she needed to be. I also loved the pep talk she got from Michael before her first performance.


That is the craziest thing. But yes it seems like a Klingon has been hidden inside him. I wonder if that crazy woman put the personality of T'Kuvma into Tyler because she is a crazy fanatic of his movement. Not really sure how this happened though and why changing his bone structure would help underlay a new personality. I feel really bad for Tyler and everything that they did to him. I hope they can reverse what was done to him before his implanted personality can do anymore damage.


I am so disappointed that they killed him He was such a great character and I was loving his relationship with Stamets I think it was a huge mistake.


I'd like to see that too. I think it will be harder for them to blend in though since they don't have Captain Lorca on their ship. But they don't really seem like the blending in type so maybe it won't make much of a difference for them in how they act

LOVED Captain Tilly! Really enjoyed seeing her pull off the deception, then admit her insecurities.

Can't believe they killed Culber?!? Although if they get back to their own universe/timeline, hopefully he'll still be alive?

The mention of the Defiant was a nice shout out to DS9

Didn't like seeing Lorca tortured at the end.
