Are you a UC (Unconventional) Shipper? :)
I ask this question because i ship several non canon UC couples and i just wondered if anyone else does?
I like UC couples much better than canon pairings. Mainly because it's more fun!! I can imagine the interaction, make up the subtext and have things the way i want. UC couples, unlike canon ones, have no boundaries and can be taken exactly where YOU would like them to go, there are no limits. OK, so thats why i love UC, now here are the couples i ship. BtVS/Angel Fred/Angel Buffy/Xander Spike/Willow Dawn/Connor Lilah/Lindsey ER Luka/Susan Deb/Carter Neela/Coop Friends Phoebe/Joey Rachel/Chandler Harry Potter Harry/Ginny Luna/Ron Hermione/Malfoy Hehe, you'd almost think i watched a lot of TV!! :grin: So, your turn now! I do think I'm a UC shipper now more than ever because of my frustration with a lot of the plotlines on TV so here are my ships:
Roswell Michael/Isabel- Used to think they made a weird couple but then slowly grew to love them together. Liz/Sean- Although I'm a major Max/Liz shipper, I loved these two together too. How weird. [img]smilies/tongue.gif[/img] Kyle/Tess Kyle/Isabel Alias Sydney/Sark- I would definitely say that they're my fav UC couple ever and my second favourite ship. [img]smilies/biggrin.gif[/img] LOTR Aragorn/Eowyn- I think that they have a lot of chemistry together. Too bad the writers changed their minds about putting them together. [img]smilies/frown.gif[/img] CSI Grissom/Catherine Nick/Sara I put these two couples as UC because everyone seems to be G/S shippers instead. [img]smilies/smile.gif[/img] Mutant X Brennan/Emma- The CC couple is Brennan/Shalimar but I can't stand Shalimar and plus, I think they're more compatible together. [img]smilies/wink.gif[/img] Can't think of any more as of now. [img]smilies/biggrin.gif[/img] __________________

Definately a UC shipper...not always of course...but sometimes.
Willow/Xander - Buffy Wes/Faith - Buffy/Angel Wes/Cordelia - Buffy/Angel Cordelia/Oz - Buffy Joey/Phoebe - Friends Chloe/Lex - Smallville Donna/Hyde - That 70s show Pacey/Jen - Dawson's Creek Eddie/Joey - Dawson's Creek *I know they were together, but I know of no other fans, so I call this a UC shippage... I used to be a very conventional shipper. I loved Ross/Rachel on Friends for example, but after all the will-they, won't-they crap, I got sick of it. There should have been some definitive end to it either in London or Vegas, but no, the writers kept dragging it out to the point where it became ridiculous. Likewise, I liked Monica/Chandler for about one season, then grew to hate it with a passion.
These are my unconventional couples that I like on Friends: Joey/Chandler Phoebe/David Phoebe/Ross Phoebe/Joey Chandler/Janice Chandler/Kathy __________________

UC, though I do like some conventional couples.
TV Couples [img]smilies/star.gif[/img] Sark & Sydney (Alias) - They're a very new couple for me, since I've just recently been introduced to the show. [img]smilies/star.gif[/img] Wesley & Faith (Angel) - Ever since Wesley's "I'm five by five" last season, I've wanted them together. - I used to ship Buffy & Spike in the early seasons, when they were UC as hell. Don't care for the way they turned out though, and I've always been a Buffy & Angel fan. [img]smilies/star.gif[/img] White & Max (Dark Angel) - Not much to go on, but I always thought if the show had continued it would have been interesting to pair them up. Max & Logan bored me, and Max & Alec were too much alike. - I used to ship Lex & Lana (Smallville), but all of the guys loving Lana is finally starting to grate on my nerves and I'm losing interest in them as a couple. It would have to be Lana interested in Lex for me to get back into them, and not the other way around. Movies Couples [img]smilies/star.gif[/img] Wolverine & Rogue (X-Men) - They were the heart of the first movie. [img]smilies/star.gif[/img] Jack & Elizabeth (POTC) - I'd like them more if I didn't like Will, but since I do, the idea of Jack & Elizabeth is just a fun "what if" thing for me. [img]smilies/star.gif[/img] Draco & Ginny (Harry Potter) - The perfect love/hate relationship. - I used to be more of an Aragorn & Eowyn (LOTR) fan than I am now. Though I still like them, I ended up liking Faramir in ROTK, which resulted in me liking Faramir & Eowyn. Originally, I thought she was too good for him. __________________

Ah, I miss Chandler/Janice and Chandler/Kathy...I do NOT like Chandler/Monica at ALL. Probably one of the reasons why I'm not as into friends as I used to be. Chandler married is just...weird *Shrugs*
