I think Bruce is so used to being one step ahead of people, especially when he operates as billionaire Bruce Wayne.

I love that after their first interaction, Bruce thought he had Diana figured out. He thought she was a thief that was toying with him, like Selina. That she was on the other side of the law. But then when he sees her again, he's on the defensive thinking he's going to have to outsmart and charm her to get the files back, but she just gives them to him. She wasn't driven by playing a cat-and-mouse game, or by greed of some sort. She was motivated by wanting that picture/wanting to remember her love for Steve.
