Will & Maggie (Rubicon): Because she's not giving up on him.
Just recently started watching this very interesting series, and although Maggie's feelings for Will are quite unrequited thus far, this is a couple to watch, I think.
Any other Rubicon fans out there watching these two? Lots to talk about, especially THAT SCENE last episode! __________________

I haven't watched all the eps of rubicon so far - only seen the first 3 eps, but I'm enjoying these two so far so please add me if you make a supporters list
There was a scene in the latest episode? Damn now I really need to get caught up or I won't resist spoiling myself! __________________

I only watched the pilot. I was not grabbed but that might have been circumstantial so I am thinking of giving it another go. The appearance here is a good sign and I liked the scenes these two had on the pilot.
For Rainstorm Jenny and anyone who might come to the thread not knowing the show it is a conspiracy show on AMC. On September 5 they will air all of the episodes thus far starting at 9 am. They made this two minute video about the conspiracy. More on topic the preview scene is this and I think this scene had something to do with inspiring the thread __________________

Thanks, Jenny I agree - he is really cute! His name is James Badge Dale, and he's had previous roles in 24 and the HBO miniseries (and sequel to Band of Brothers), The Pacific. I defo recommend seeing The Pacific, btw - great series, and Dale is one of the three main characters. He's a handsome man with a subtle charm. I learned recently that he used to be a hockey player, too (could've gone pro if he hadn't injured himself), so that endears him to me especially
portiaslegacy summed the show up very nicely. Thanks! The series does have a relatively slow pace so far, but I have a feeling it's intentional and for the best. Lots of building tension so far. Will is an analyst at an independent think tank that gathers intelligence info, interprets it, and shares it with US agencies such as the CIA, FBI, armed forces, etc. Maggie is his secretary/assistant, and it's clear from episode one that she's got a crush on him. He's just not open to her advances, as he lost his wife and daughter in the WTC attack, and has still not let himself heal from it. So far we know that Maggie is kind of an office snitch to Will's superior, but she seems to be very protective of Will and does not share nearly as much about his actions or state of mind as she does the others in the office. And yes, THE scene is the one portiaslegacy posted. LOTS of tension there. OMG. The hair on my arms stands up just thinking about it haha. The character Maggie has a blog on amc's site. I mostly caught up over the weekend. I am going to give Rubicon the first 13 episodes to win me over. Also I like this couple. This episode was good for them as it brought things closer to a head.
I want to add about Maggie's snitching, she and Kale have a personal relationship out of the office. I think Kale's boyfriend is her brother or something (Kale offered to tell Walter how Maggie was adjusting to the job). Which goes with how Kale is trying to protect her from her ex, the father of her daughter. And yeah she is protective of Will as she spies on him and the team. they have an interesting dynamic. __________________

I agree the show is a bit slow paced - I'm still not 100% if I'm gonna continue watching the series, but for now it's a good show to watch when I've got nothing else to do and I am enjoying this couple quite a bit.

I want to talk about them in the last episode "Caught inn the Suck"?
Obviously it is not completely over with them, and Kale's outing of Maggie was necessary. I am glad it happened sooner than later, but ouch. And I was really digging their dynamic __________________

I was also surprised by how Kale outed her, but I think it's a good thing. I'm sure this isn't the last we'll see of her. Poor Will is so caught up in his own head, though, that she's gotta be way, way down on his priority list.
The only thing I'm thinking is that his escapades w/ Andie in last night's ep will at least open him up a bit more to the possibility. I'd like to see him w/ Maggie eventually, but I can't say I complained about his night w/ Andie. I mean, we got to see him shirtless (FINALLY) and that's plenty for me __________________

Sooo I know we haven't seen much between these two since Maggie was kicked off the team, but looks like she's back!
Interesting that Will asked Kale to bring her back. I think that was a sign he knows he can trust Kale, and that since she was spying on him (Will) per Kale's directive, then she must be trustworthy enough to come back. My heart just broke for her when she was @ Andy's and Andy asked her point-blank, "Are you sleeping with him, too?" Ugh. I would've lost it if I were Maggie. __________________
