I still think it's because for him it would have been harder to leave, cause he does the same thing on the beach, he literally pulls himself away (love the way Orlando plays the scene) he looks like he is dragging himself away from her, only this time no bars and she's not having it.
But then you see his utterly painful look after he says "keep a weather eye on the horizon" *sniffles* __________________
