We know from the epi 9 stills that they are still together, and with the proposal spoiler, they are save I think. Maybe something happens in the finale that will separate them temporaly.

There are some who started out with shipping Elena/Chris and now they are all John Ross and Elena. I guess it's their great chemistry and that they show their love to each other so obvious. __________________
