Oh, yeah, I like Elrond too. I find his drama to be endearing. He also seems to have a dry sense of humor that I enjoy. One of my favorite lines of his is when he's talking to Gandalf about how basically they're all on their own and being betrayed all over, and he's "Our list of allies grows thin." Just something about the delivery always cracks me up.

Hmm, the only song that really jumps out in my mind at the moment is "May It Be" from FotR. I know that it can be used really for any of the Fellowship, but it's always seemed like a very Aragorn/Arwen song to me.

This one's Supernatural, not Firefly. It's Jeffrey Dean Morgan (John Winchester from the show), and from the blooper reel on the DVDs. I love the shot because it's such a very un-John moment.

I like the thread title, the whole concept of how even though the board is closed, the Muses are still here and loving Aragorn/Arwen. I was wondering, though, if there was a reason "eternal" was spelt with a 'u". Is that an alternate spelling or something?

Nope, no reason besides really cruddy spelling on my part. I didn't think it was Firefly, I just didn't recognize it. Anywho...do you have a favorite Arwen dress in the trilogy? For some reason I was looking pretty closely at the clothing during my marathon and just fell in love with her dresses.

I really like the blue and red one she wears in ROTK, and the riding cape thing from FOTR, the use of velvet is so romantic.

I don't know that I have a favorite Arwen outfit. I do rather like the dress she wears to Aragorn's coronation, but whether that's because I particularly like the dress itself or if I just associate it with their reunion, I couldn't tell ya.

But yeah, her cape is very cool.

(My favorite outfit in the movie is actually Eowyn's white dress. I love that dress.)

Which dress...I love two of Eowyns...the white with the gold and the white with the black velvet? I also like the coronation dress for association...it's the definitive muse moment.

The white dress Eowyn is wearing when she watches Aragorn and the others come to Edoras for the first time. I love the wide sleeves on it.

Can a Muse ever get tired of watching the coronation? Aragorn and Arwen finally reunited after all they've been through.....
