Muse Poem-by Kate and Mandy

The Lovers of Cerin Amroth

Their meeting in the night was of harmony like the sweetest dream with love, faith, and loyalty. Fate had brought them here, where stolen kisses were but a symbol of the depth of their love . He saw her, a work of art,and inspiration filled his heart to make a great music of purity that could only match her own. He knew not of the bittersweetness of immortality that lay upon her, instead he caressed her soft porcelain skin, which glowed with the eternal light of Aman. And in her eyes shone hope and wisdom and grace above all the Elf-Kind, and in that hour his destiny was appointed, for her dark beauty pierced his heart like cold iron. Arwen Undomiel, the Evenstar of her people. And he, Strider, the Elfstoneking in exile, who alone could yet bring greatness upon the world of men.

Their story, was not of fairy lore, but of great truth. In that moment their spirits united in a bond that would never be forgotten. Together, their matched dreams shown brilliantly. Only time could put asunder the desire and passion of their love. With great strength, forsaking the resting place of her ancestors the gray havens, she joined herself to the mortal Aragorn, swearing her life and fidelity to him. Being of wise temperament and courage, the Lady Arwen knew that dark times lay ahead, but still true love's hidden path, or friendships made or broken, their adoration would remain constant for all eternity, and forgiveness along with intuition would create memories to last a lifetime. Their love was as sunshine upon the world bringing light upon world until journeys end.

I'm glad you came over tonka. I went through the old thread yesterday and invited all the people who posted on the last thread over here. Hopefully they'll all come over.

Glad you all like the icons, that lj site is awesome, it's got all kinds of wonderful graphics.

Yeah, all the graphics were stripped too, I'm glad I saved the old image, it was a pretty image.

So, I've gone through TTT in my reviewing. Was it just me or did anyone else find Aragorn fake "death" kinda silly until Arwen showed up with 'the grace of the valar protect you'?

I was thinking, maybe we could start a soundtrack for muses, any ideas besides Anrion by Enya?

I loved all the arwen/aragorn moments in all the movies, they were precious and they were worth it!

I don't recall thinking that any of it was particulary silly. I did find Elrond's warning/prophecy of Aragorn's death to be a bit overly dramatic , but I just thought that was Elrond's style. He's a dramatic type of elf.

(My favorite part of the cast commentary is still during the Council of Elrond, when he announces that one of them must take the ring to Mt. Doom and throw it into the fiery chasm. And suddenly up chirps Orlando Bloom's voice asking "Why don't you take it, mate?" )

Oh, wait, I just realized you probably meant when Aragorn almost drowned and was rescued by Brego and Arwen. So never mind.

I rewatched the first half of TTT fairly recently, but haven't gotten to that part yet.

Yeah, he is a dramatic sort of elf, Elrond. I like him though. It's hard not to, what with being a fan of Arwen and such.
