This film was the first to make me sob my eyes out, even the book affected me. And I loved the music

Awww, love the kiss caps!
This movie is so sad, I always cry when I watch the funeral scene. I so would've wanted Thomas J to live (as everyone else, I think  ) and them to grow up together... I would have loved to see them as teenagers. Probably Thomas J would still be really shy and just so cute I would like to see them kind of trying to forget about the kiss but in love with each other from then on and then when they turned 16 or something we would see them each day more in love with the other but too scared to act on their feelings because they were afraid the other had forgotten about the kiss and just wanted to stay friends... I think that would've been really cute.  __________________
