It took awhile for the actress to grow on me when she was on Grimm, but she did grow on me and I really liked her in the end. I can't wait to see what she brings to the Lois character.

I agree. Some of my favorite characters were portrayed by newcomers. Even if they weren't new to the business, they were new to me. Including all the Lois' that I have met throughout my watches.

I am not sure if I knew any of the Lois's and Clark's actors before I saw them as Lois and Clark. lol
