So, I'm still pretty shocked by the spoilers, because as you know I was feeling really good about them. I'm honestly very confused by this turn of direction they're taking them in, I just don't get it. All this about them being on different pages about the breakup, and then this new guy she's going to be dating. I can't imagine them just going back to being friends after everything.

I'm very confused by the change in direction for the two of them as well It just doesn't make much sense to me either, after all the build-up to them getting together throughout S2, and the entire storyline they concocted just for that to happen. What was the point if they're just going to have them break up by the next episode? I know it's eight months later, but still - I'm really not liking the reasons why they're not together either

My least favourite thing about what has been said so far on the Tyra/Landry front (as well as everything!) is that they've said Landry will still be thinking that they're just "on a break" or something. I mean, are we all the way back to square one here? It makes no sense to me that they would have Tyra do that to Landry after everything they went through, and the same kinda thing happening already in S2.

Plus, I totally don't understand what they mean when they say they're going to explore whether Tyra and Landry can be friends or not again - does that mean they're either going to be friends or not? Or does it mean they're not going to be able to be just friends, and they'll realize that and get back together? Bah, I just really wish they weren't doing this at all! It seems to be a very weird reaction to the dislike of the murder stroyline last season IMO.

I'm depressed by it all right now. I can't even talk about it.

I'm feeling the same thing you are...confusion. Nothing really makes sense, I mean all last season was building up to this point where they could be together and I really don't get why they spent so much time in doing that if we're not even going to see their relationship at all. I can't believe they are already going to be broken up with the season starts! We missed it all. Really what was the point of the murder storyline?! We need an explanation, because all the L/T stuff from last season now makes no sense to me, if their goal all along was to show that they're just friends.

That's what I have a huge problem with also! The fact that they're on different pages.....this pisses me off so much. It just makes things a thousand times worse IMO. Also, I read some casting sides, and got even more upset about how this is all going down. From what I read, it sounds like Tyra is blowing off Landry for this new guy. Like, she's lying to him about why she didn't show up when she said she would and things like that. The thing about this is, not only is this upsetting for Tyra/Landry, but all of this sounds like it puts Tyra in a terrible light, which sucks. I don't want to hate Tyra, I love her so much, she's definitely one of my favorites, and I don't know why they're doing this to her character.

Yeah, I don't get this can they be friends thing either. Um, no they can't just be friends! We know Landry has always wanted more than that with her, he's not going to be all okay with letting her go and them being buddies again. And honestly how could Tyra think that would work?! After everything they have gone through together and how in love they were, we are supposed to go back and think they are really best off being friends. I mean they never should have taken them down this road, if that's all they wanted them to be IMO.

I loved what Jesse said about them, and I really hope he's right, but there's nothing out there that makes me think that they'll wind up together again. I hate to be thinking like this, but after being that hopeful then being squashed like this I can't help it.

Now that we've found out they wont be together in the begining, what was the point - it's almost like if season 2 had continued we would have seen a large gap starting to grow and set up the spilt of Tandry in season 3 but without those episodes it's just way to big of a jump.

Also, to make me more upset there is no guarantee of season 4 and if FNL ends without Lyra together - I'm going to be peeved

I feel the same as all of you. I'm so depressed about the spoilers and sides. None of it makes any sense based on everything we saw last season. And I just hate hearing that we're going to see these two on different pages and Tyra lieing to Landry and blowing him off, etc.

I agree I am really dissapointed with these spoilers. I don't understand how the writers can make Tyra feel like Landry isn't the guy for her?! It's so confusing. And I don't want Tyra lieing to Landry or anything else like that. I'm not really looking forward to S3 that much anymore.

I really do wonder what would have happened if season two hadn't been cut short. I'm just wondering if they had been planning this all along, and if they were then I'm really lost.

Nothing sounds good and/or hopeful at all. The reason they broke up, how they'll be on different pages regarding the breakup, the way she's going to be treating him after deciding to become just friends......it all sucks.

It is confusing. And unfortunately from the things that are out there it looks like Tyra will be lying to him and blowing him off. Not cool at all. I don't know why they're doing this to them, but it's just so upsetting. I just hope that her jerking him around doesn't last for too long. I'd rather them not have scenes together than having to watch that.
