I didn't know what was burning at first until Talking Dead aired next afterwards and was ticked off.

What did you all think of the scene when Rick told Michonne about Shane, Lori and Judith not being his?

Michonne was going to "try" because she loves Rick but when she saw the burning mattresses, she was done.

Rick is someone who keeps things inside of himself but he's sharing this moment with Michonne because he wants her to be safe and to stay safe. He wants her to understand, He's so afraid of losing her.

He feels safe with her so he can share it with no fear. He chooses to do so and he needs it, for him and for her.
