Any hope at all Bash will see the light by the end of the season and run off to wherever Kenna is? I can't believe he actually dumped his siblings to go with the girl who both friend and family zoned him. Although you can never tell with Mary, she does fall in love with anyone she spends more than two minutes with.

Even if she did, she'll dump him for Darnley, since historically she was kind of infatuated with him, wasn't she? Unless you have Torrance guest next season only to be killed as the Rizzio figure . . .

Don't know if anyone else is still watching here, but I was just over in the spoilers thread and seeing the promo and the extended promo for the season finale, I'm not sure I recognize this show anymore. Seems like they brought in a whole new cast this season.

They're definitely recasting a lot and there's a whole set of new characters coming. I'm kind of okay with that, as long as I have Catherine and Elizabeth. It's kind of going Grey's Anatomy in that respect

Sooooo I'm just saying. If Kenna was never coming back they should of told us, such bull****. LM was just trying to keep viewers. It looks like Lola is dead now too, and maybe Lieth.
Also Bash is apperently a seer like Nosty. He left to go live with the Druids and learn how to be a better seer so he can come back and help Mary. this show.

So glad you're still writing, luckily the show didn't discourage you from that!

Anyway it's pretty much "burn them all" for budgetary reasons I think. I was just reading on the AV Club that Catherine and Mary are the two characters left from the pilot. It gets to a point it's not really about the characters. But I still hate that they wouldn't reunite Kennash off screen.

I was reading around and I think I saw this show was originally created and co-run by someone else. I wonder what would have happened if she had stayed on board? I feel like Reign could have been so much more than it ended up being. I liked most of the actors and the couples had so much potential, but the direction of the show just wasn't where it could have been.

Oh well, in my mind Bash and Kenna are off somewhere with THEIR baby.

That's true. I didn't realize it until last year, which is when the current EP convinced herself that this was Game of Thrones's cousin.

That makes so much sense. Because season one was AMAZINGLY good.

They should of brought Kenna back she could of reconciled with Bash and then run off into the sunset together with their baby which is a girl. Maybe they could care for Jon too since his mom got her head chopped off.

Like how much do they have to hate poor Kenna to choose to get Bash with the Druids instead? Knowing that his "seeing" powers make no sense considering the end Mary is destined for?

Well apperently he never loved Kenna and has always loved Mary. The entire fandom just read into the realtonship wrong, I mean hello when a couple says I love you, and that Kenna healed Bashs heart obviously it's just a joke. So now Bash can have a vison of his love Mary getting her head chopped off. Ha ha ha ha ha

HANDS OFF MY BB LEITH, LAURIE. Except things never seem to end well for couples who have a moment of happiness/sexual satisfaction in the finale (see: Kennash), so . . .

And yeah, if they knew Kenna was never coming back (either because CS was fired, CS was too disgusted to continue with the show/wanted to pursue alternative opportunities, or by 100% mutual agreement), they should've just treated her departure like they did any other. Because, in retrospect, removing my shipper goggles, Kenna was unlikely to come back except for a one episode let's-kill-her-off or expose her for the evil demon she is (RME) kind of thing.

Except it doesn't matter if he can see anything, since according to Nosty you can't change things anyway. Ta, ta!

Isn't always easy lol! And looks increasingly unlikely that the half-baked ideas I have will turn into fic because Kennash is dead and, ya know, life. But things I've already started aren't going to be abandoned!

It would've been the tiniest, easiest gimme of all time. They reunited Greer and Castleroy, on screen for Pete's sake.

Or they will be . . . half the time, I end up imagining Kenna will come back to Scotland at some point and things will be really awkward for a while, but then they'll work things out. Especially once Bash realizes his "there all along" feelings for Mary are not that at all, but rather panic at being all alone.

It's obvious they randomly fired Caitlin who played Kenna....It's ridiculous. I think because she expressed disappointment in their writing last season like ALL the fans did....so they probably got upset with her and just fired her...

I can't watch the show anymore. I don't have my Frary AND Kennash. Loved both couples...and the writers couldn't even let us have Kennash....just sent Kenna off somewhere....with no mention of her.

So disrespectful of the fans.

And I'm not watching next season. especially if Lieth is dead screw all that.

It would make sense for Bashs "love" for Mary to stem from his fear of being alone. But this show is to ****ing stupid to think of that.


So what does everyone think happened with CS? I think someone got pissy she spoke up against the rape storyline. CS probably was supposed to be a recurring character but once she saw what happening with the show she was like, NOPE. Which I wouslnt blame her for.
