That whole episode when it came to Karen/Dan/Keith felt so lazy for me

It was so poorly handled It was established from the beginning that Karen had always loved Dan. But in this version, we were supposed to believe she was in Deb's position and therefore was stuck in a loveless marriage

At least the 10 seconds of Brathan made up for it.

It really was It felt like that they switched personalities from each character without taking into account that if Dan and Karen had stayed together, the way that characters were in the Pilot would be different.

Best part of that whole episode is Nate saying to Brooke and Peyton after he wakes up from the coma, "I know you both want me."

It's interesting to think that James might have been cast as Lucas in different circumstances, because Chad was originally set to play Nathan.
