Tumnus/Lucy (Chronicles of Narnia) Because they were dear friends
Welcome to the Tumnus and Lucy Thread  Lucy: [holds out her hand] Pleased to meet you Mr. Tumnus, I'm Lucy Pevensie. [Mr. Tumnus looks at her hand curiously] Lucy: Oh, you shake it. Mr. Tumnus: Why? Lucy: I... I don't know. ~ Lucy: Oh, I should go. Mr. Tumnus: It's too late for that. I'm such a terrible faun. Lucy: No. You're the nicest faun I've ever met. Mr. Tumnus: Then I'm afraid you've had a very poor sampling. Lucy: I'm sure you haven't done anything that bad. Mr. Tumnus: It's not something I have done, Lucy Pevensie. It's something I am doing. Lucy: What are you doing? Mr. Tumnus: I'm kidnapping you. It was the White Witch. She's the one that makes it always winter, always cold. She gave orders. If anyone was to find a human in the woods, we were supposed to turn it over to her! Lucy: But, Mr. Tumnus, you wouldn't. I thought you were my friend. Mr. Tumnus, the Faun: And what about you? You must be some kind of beardless dwarf? Lucy: I'm not a dwarf! I'm a girl. And actually, I'm tallest in my class. Mr. Tumnus, the Faun: You mean to say that you are a daughter of Eve? Lucy: [confused] My mum's name is Helen... Mr. Tumnus, the Faun: Yes... but, you are in fact... human? ~ Mr. Tumnus: [sees Lucy looking at picture] Ah, that... that is my father. Lucy: He has a kind face... he looks a lot like you! Mr. Tumnus: No... no, I'm not really like him at all. Lucy: My father's fighting in the war... Mr. Tumnus: My father went away to war too. I love this movie, and these two. If she was older, I would of shipped them hardcore because of their chemistry onscreen.

I recently rewatched both movies and the second was sorely lacking Tumnus.  But I adored them in the first movie.  And I've watched so many interviews with James and the girl who's name I can't remember and they are adorable together. __________________
