Good point about Stef letting her emotions get the better of her. I agree that Lena helped Stef calm down. Oh, yes! I love Stef's nicknames. They're very sweet.

I know. I'm excited!

Unfortunately, I learned about a spoiler related to Stef yesterday. Now I'm going to avoid the Spoilers thread like the plague.

How can anyone not love Stef`s nicknames? Of course Lena did come up with the best nickname, which is Tiger Mama for Stef.

Also i`ve been avoiding spoilers like the plague and now you`re starting to make me worried about Stef.

I know, right? Yes! Lena did a great job with that nickname. I find that nickname endearing.

I'm not gonna say anything about the spoiler involving Stef since I don't wanna spoil anyone. It's nothing to worry about though.

Excuse the double post. I'd like to talk about Stef and Lena's interaction in last night's episode.

I liked the tension between them due to Lena's fear of losing her job. When Stef gave the morning-after pill to Lexi, she obviously didn't think that Lexi's parents would hear about it eventually. I totally understand why Stef took action but I also get why Lena didn't like consequences that it could've had for her and their family. Luckily it doesn't seem like Lena's going to lose her job anytime soon thanks to Lexi being so outspoken and firm with her parents. I doubt Mr. and Mrs. Rivera will take the issue to the parent board at school after that.

Any thoughts on this, guys?

I also liked the sense of calm that Stef and Lena had at the end of the episode. They looked exhausted while cuddling up with their wine but they also looked relieved. I loved that Callie opened up to them shortly after Stef and Lena began to unwind. It's clear that she trusts them, which she should because they've given her and Jude a wonderful and loving home.

I liked that part. Stef did a good job of trying to set Mariana straight.

I also loved all of the great stuff with Stef and Lena in last night`s episode.

First of all, the tension over the possible consequences Lena was facing over Stef`s action was nicely explored. I like that both ladies stated their differing opinions in a civilized manner.

Also i liked how Stef and Lena`s separate conversations with the Riveras made them reexamine their actions, especially Stef.

As for the scene where they were unwinding toward the end,





I love how it perfectly captured Stef and Lena after a hard day of work, but at the same time, they were ready to meet with Callie, who was about to tell them about Liam.

I have no idea. I'll probably go into some sort of withdrawal. Or we can come up with ideas about what might happen in the next season/next half of the first season.


I liked that too but I felt sad when Stef told Lena that it was bad luck to go to bed angry and Lena made it clear that she didn't mind going to bed mad. I saw that as Stef's attempt to make peace with Lena and get them back on civil terms. At least Lena didn't remain angry at Stef for long.

I meant to ask you about something that Stef did during Monday night's episode. When Mr. Rivera stated that his wife was stubborn, Stef responded by smiling and saying that Mrs. Rivera wasn't the only one. Did you get the impression that Stef was thinking of herself when she reacted to Mr. Rivera's statement? Or did you think she'd been thinking about Lena and Lena's previous anger? The thought of Stef recognizing her own stubbornness about what she did with the pill is a realistic and logical view of Stef's smile and what it really meant. I can see the smile being a reference to either woman's stubbornness though.

Have to post these because they captured one of my favorite comedic Stef moments so far. She's such a goof!

Yes. Stef and Lena both have moments of extreme stubbornness. And yet they still manage to get along so well. That's probably because they understand each other.
