They really, really did. Including factors outside the show (ratings, hype, Norman and Emily shipping the heck out of it, etc.) Imagine if the show had capitalized on all that? It still pains me to think about.

Yeah, it's moot but I personally think it would have extended the show's peak/growth. Or at least pushed the steep decline it's been on since season 5 off until a little later.
