Steve was absolutely DEVASTATED when he found Bucky again but it wasnt REALLY Bucky. His face when The Winter Soldier said "Who the hell is Bucky?" was HEARTBREAKING. Also "Even when I had nothing I still had Bucky." It was like he was grieving for his loss all over again.

I'm super jealous you get to see it opening night Nikki! I probably wont get to see it for a week at LEAST. I am very limited in terms of people who I have to go to movies with (namely who share my taste ) so I'm bringing my 14 year old twin brothers with me They are weirdos who love hanging out wtih their big sister.

Also Bucky Barnes deserves better. He never wanted ANY of this sht. Steve wanted it, he wanted to be in the army, he wanted to be bigger and stronger, Bucky was just content to live life as they always did. That makes me sad.

But think about it, Steve and Bucky reunited again, fighting side by side.
Bucky recovered his memory, but will him still have the memories of when he was the Winter Soldier? Because if so, it’s going to be devastating for him.

Steve and Bucky's bond... it's just.. I don't even have the words.. it just gives me so many feels I am about to see the movie for a third time tomorrow night

Ugh I have at least two more weeks until I can see it. It doesnt come out until this weekend and I have to wait at LEAST another week until I can get someone to go with me. Gotta love how a movie that has Captain AMERICA in the title premieres everywhere else BUT America first.

But I cant WAIT to see Steve/Bucky and my husband Sebastian Stan shine as I know he's going to in this movie. I'm jealous that you've already seen it three times

Steve will go to the ends of the earth for Bucky and this movie just made that even clearer!! Steve will risk it all for Bucky. Their relationship is definitely the best thing about this movie.

I'm new to the fandom but I am totally obsessed with Bucky Barnes. It's so heart-breaking what he's suffered because of what HYDRA made him.

Steve/Bucky's bond is so beautiful because they've lost so much but as long as they have each other they haven't completely lost everything.

One of my favorite favorite moments between them was in Winter Soldier.

BUCKY/WINTER SOLDIER: You're my mission!
STEVE: Then finish it. Cuz I'm with you till the end of the line.

That got me right in the hearstrings tbh. It just proves how much they will go to the end of the earth for each other. Also this moment from Bucky in the First Avenger when Steve is trapped:

STEVE: Just go get out of here!
BUCKY: No! Not without you!

The ending of Winter Soldier always makes me tear up. I guess in these superhero movies you'd expect it to end with a big explosion or something, but Steve refusing to fight his friend and sacrificing himself instead (as Bucky wasn't a danger to anyone else in that moment, except Steve, of course) was so refreshing, and quite frankly, beautiful. I haven't seen the new one yet, but I hope there's a lot of Steve/Bucky interaction.. I'm not really a fan of Tony Stark, and was kind of disappointed to see him in there.. does he take up a lot of screentime?
