okay i tried to clean up the OP a bit and i changed the moment and added the previous threads.
i added a future titles list? if you have any suggestions, just post. any other quotes that you guys want in the op can definitely go in there, but i might go through and add a few  --- here are my thoughts on the episode: people are WAY overreacting to the SE thing. I don’t see it going back there at all? I think elena was involved in the storyline the whole time and thats why he said to her “bring me back” i think that means, do anything necessary to get me back IE have damon do it. not “you ELENA bring me back” if that makes sense. its very easy to assume that stefan was faking it because caroline was right there when he was talking to elena. i have a feeling they won’t bring him back down that path. stefan may even be lying to EVERYONE for a while just to get caroline back. or maybe its all part of the plan from the beginning because elena asked him in the episode “what are you planning to do?” anyways with all of that said i loved the episode, i love the focus on caroline and how hard stefan tried to get her back the entire episode. loved the “you’re hot” comment, and i loved when he got her to close her eyes for that brief moment. and stefan is her emotional tether <3. i also adored stefan admitting he liked her. and of course that ending scene which was just awesome AND THE PROMO! HOLY CRAP. I don’t care how it happens, i just love that we will get to see candice/paul make out.  of course i do worry about the show destroying them but this show does a great job with that so I’m just going to enjoy what i can while it lasts. :/ __________________

Yeah. I think it's pretty clear the writers want DE but I just think they may plant seeds in case they need to have a backup plan but I'm pretty confident SE are dead for now. Also Mama Salvatore being a Ripper is no coincidence and I'm sure that Stefan and her will help each other. I'm really excited about Defan and their Mama having this new challenge to work through   This is a great opportunity to write something for Defan.I didn't think of Stefan faking it. I don't think he is. This is also a great opportunity for Caroline to be Stefan's sober sponsor. One thing that I didn't like was Caroline saying something about years? It's not necessary to retcon. She was with Tyler and he was with Elena so they shouldn't pretend like she liked him for longer. She's only liked him for about a year now. __________________
