Into the Fire Jack: CARTER! (He pulls her upright and hugs her) Sam: W-What happened? Jack: Hathor's gone. Sam: What about you? Jack: Cold, a little chilly, but... I'm me. I'm me. Divide and Conquer Jack: I didn't leave ... because I'd have rather died myself ... than lose Carter. Anise: Why? Jack: Because I care about her. A lot more than I'm supposed to. Beneath the Surface Jack: Would it mean anything if I told you I remember something else? Sam: What? Jack: Feelings. Sam: Feelings? Jack: I remember feeling --- feelings. Sam: For me? Jack: No, for TOR. (Sam laughs) I don't remember much, but I DO remember that. Sam: So... Jack: So... I'm just saying. Sam: Well, then I feel better. Ascension Jack: You’ve been a little tense. Sam: Tense? Me? I’m not tense. Am I? ... When did you first notice? Jack: As ... we ... met. Unatural Selection Sam: So what didn’t they go for? Jack: The name I suggested. Sam: For the ship? Jack: Yeah. Sam: Yeah Sir, we can’t call it the Enterprise. Jack: Why not? Birthright Mala: You are close to Colonel O'Neill... Sam: Yeah...I like to think we have a special relationship. Mala: I hope to, someday, have a special relationship... Sam: Oh! No, no...it's not like that... Mala: Like what? Sam: (fumbles for words) W...ye...we aren't, you know, I mean, we don't... Mala: I was speaking of the mutual respect you share. Sam: I knew that... (She clears her throat.) Grace Sam: What if I quit the Air Force? Would that change anything or is it just an excuse? Jack: I would never ask you to give up your career. Sam: Because you don't feel anything for me? Jack: Sam... Sam: I'd let you go right now if I knew. Jack: That easy? Sam: I didn't say it would be easy. Jack: Then what's stopping you if you really wanna know? Sam: I'm trying. Jack: Maybe it's not me that's the problem here. Let's face it, I'm not that complex. Sam: Me? Jack: Sam. I'm a safe bet. Sam: As long as I'm thinking about you, setting my sights on what I think is unobtainable, there's no chance of being hurt by someone else. Jack: Jacob was right. Chimera (Sam enters the elevator with Jack. She starts humming the Stargate theme tune) Jack: Humming? Sam: I am? Jack: You are. Sam: Sorry. Jack: What's his name? Sam: No one. Jack: Humming. Sam: Pete. Jack: Pete? Sam: Pete Shannahan, he's a cop. Jack: Speeding again are we? Sam: He's from Denver, he's a friend of my brothers. Jack: Set-up. Sam: Pathetic, I know. Jack: No, it's great. Sam: Really? Jack: Isn't it? Sam: Well it's not serious or anything. Jack: And yet it is humworthy. Sam: But Sir... Jack: But Carter it's none of my...business. I'm just happy that you're happy about something else than... quarks. Heros Part 2 Sam: Sir. I-I just wanted to say... when you were lying there I.... I'm really glad you're okay. Sam's tearing up, she looks away. Jack moves closer, slowly, and she glances at him. Jack: C'mere. He pulls Sam into a hug, which she returns. The Lost City Part 1 Sam: I should have done it. I just hope it's worth it. Sam: Even if we do find the Lost City. Even if we get there and find exactly what we're looking for to defend the planet-- Jack: THAT... would be worth it. The Lost City Part 2 Jack: Do it now. Sam: Sir, I don’t think that’s necessary ... Jack: I trust you. I’ll make it easy for you. I resign. You’re in charge. Sam: OK. ... Sir, at your house before Daniel and Teal’c showed up, what I was gonna say was ... Jack: I know. | Thanks for that, I didn't even see it. But I could only change it in the post, I can't change it in the title, 'cause now suddenly it tells me the title is too long. I can't even swap those two letters, 'cause any changes I'd try to make it'll tell me the title is to long and shorten it altogether, killing the last two words. | It's been a couple of days, so new post. I've been hoping Stargate Solutions would update their Sam/Jack relationship sections for a while now, so I decided to email Michelle and list a few of the onscreen hints, discuss the deleted Trio scene and commentary and comments made by Joseph Mallozzi and Brad Wright. Unfortunately, Michelle has to draw the line somewhere and as such can only include "final onscreen product" in the canon they publish. If Brad Wright makes good on his promise and we get a romantic scene for Sam/Jack in the third movie, it will then be included in the canon. At that point, I thought it might be helpful if we make a complete list of onscreen hints and visual cues that indicate that Sam & Jack are in a relationship. (Which she could then incorporate into the new section if desired.) The ones I mentioned to her are ambiguous enough in interpretation right now without the "final onscreen product" confirmation that she doesn't feel she can publish them as canon. I know I've seen and even referred to such a list before, but for the life of me I can't find it again. So, can someone either help me find it, or can we list the onscreen hints we have? Thanks- Here's what I've got: SG-1 s9 ep 1--Sam tells Mitchell, "I have my reasons for wanting this job." SG-1 s9 ep 7--Agent Barrett asks Sam if she's single and she replies, "Not exactly" SG-1 s10 ep 6, When Vala suggest a wedding between two main characters for a story plot and we see Carter and O'Neill exchange a "knowing" glance between themselves. SG-1 s10 ep 12 When Sam is gravely injured and not sure she'll survive, she tells Mitchell that the password to her personal files is "fishing". SG-1 I know there is one episode where Jack's hand lingers on Sam's when she hands him a report. I also remember a scene where they are sitting should-to-shoulder quite comfortably without all the UST from the past. SGA s4 Sam has TWO pictures of Jack, one of the two of them fishing (in her office) and one in her personal belongings in her quarters. Any other suggestions? I'm not sure I can include Sam's devastation at Jack's death in Continuum. AT played it so well and so subtly, that the naysayers could say she's just devastated from losing her former CO. Though if we get our onscreen confirmation, the subtleties will be less open to interpretation. __________________ Watch Sanctuary--Clara: What was all that about?
