I watched Fool For Love again earlier, and no words can describe how much I love the final Spuffy scene. He goes to her house so full of anger and resentment, but in an instant, the sight of her in pain makes all that disappear. His only thought is to try and offer whatever comfort he can, even if he's not the person she wants to see at that moment. He begins that scene as Spike, but by the end we're looking at the old soft hearted William. The whole episode is incredible, but that final scene just finishes it off so amazingly.

I totally agree. That's the epitome of love, right there. They might fight and even want to kill each other, but when it comes down to it, he would rather be there for her than see her upset. That was the moment he stopped kidding himself and finally was ready to admit that he loved her and it wasn't just infatuation with a slayer or anything. Its amazing how much emotion can be conveyed with so little dialogue

Spuffy don't need words to connect.
This vid proves how these characters have such similarities & belong together. I could've accepted them only being truly best friends. That gave each other the support/understanding that only they can find with each other. B/C all those things are the core/heart of their relationship. Luckily we got to see much more of Spuffy. Out of the ugliness came such beauty.  __________________

Another great vid!
I watched it too live when it was on WB. I was in grade school at that time, and the series ended right before I graduated in High School. I remember I couldn't wait to record it on my VHS tapes.  |

I was a casual viewer until Season 5.
Spuffy happened and no couple has ever been able to even compare to their Epic Journey.  I read online there were shippers Season 2 and Spuffy were the most popular UC ship. __________________

I've always joked about Spike being Buffy's pet vamp.
This vid makes me think of him as her pet pony.  Season 4 unplanned foreshadowing. These shots together during the song.   __________________
