Spartacus is falling seriously with Laeta i think because he has feelings for her: the two have common points, have suffered the pain of losing a loved one, have lost everything in the war, and now bear the mark of the brotherhood, she is no longer a patrician of noble birth, is now a renegade slave. He has shared his blanket with him and his pain. She was his hostage and when she saw his noble purpose, she understands the corruption of the world to which she idolized. Spartacus with Mira was forced, forced but with Laeta his close heart is opening, because before being lovers are being brothers, friends and accomplices: a true evolution. Sura is dead there is no remedy. And Spartacus deserves a second chance at happiness. That phrase "I can not love you because you are Roman" or something that in the promo of 3X08 means that already feeling something real for her. Hopefully she gets pregnant finally and Spartacus could have a son alive, like in the movie of Kirk Douglas and in the series of 2004 "Spartacus", and one thing: Laeta is remembering me to Varinia, the wife of Spartacus in the movie of Kirk Douglas and in the minisserie, where Varina was the actress Rhona Mitra very well. Varinia as Laeta was with Spartacus all the third servil war and she got to his son, and both survived, hopefully with Laeta would happen the same.

Ah excuse me! Hi i´m new here!!!!!! How are you? I´m shipper of Laeta & Spartacus too!! I think that Laeta is the best woman that Spartacus had, i like her character more than Mira, she is more deep and interesting in my opinion and more pretty!!!!!

I hope that they have a child together at the end and so Spartacus had part of him in this world!!!!!!! He deserves a chid and Laeta is the best woman for him!!!!

Spartacus died and any child he had! they put the baby of another couple in the end as hope for the future.....was a true pity! Even in Kirk Douglas movie Spartacus had a son who lived free! Laeta was so perfect for that! Well the writers are so....

The writers of Spartacus were really pathetics, and i am watching every thing in another series....today anyone can to become a serie´s writer, everyone who is walking by the street....puff the Spartacus writers leting Spartacus lineage dead, they are really stupids!

May I please be added!! I liked Laeta and Spartacus!! they seemed well suited for the other!
 This version of Spartacus was more historically accurate than any other version because very little about the man survived to this time. All the information we have about the TRUE SPARTACUS is little more than theory at best. Historically speaking Spartacus body was never found amongst the dead of his army in the final battle with Rome. Soem assumed he managed to escape, others believed he was mortally wounded and died somewhere else. The writers of this show chose to show Spartacus dying far from the battlefeild and then being buried with only the serpent sheild as a marker. __________________
