Fanon but here they are:

Stargate SG1: Sam & Janet. Didn't see it the first time around, I'm not really much of a shipper where this show is concerned, but after I caught some reruns I could really see how Janet/Sam would've been better than Sam/Jack. Their relationship become so much more interesting after Cassie showed up. (I think it would've been better for this show to avoid the personal lives of the team. However, given that they, obnoxiously, focused so much on Sam later in the show I really would have liked a Sam/Janet hook-up.)

Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Buffy & Kendra. Intellectually I understood Faith's function on the show; what happens when you give superpowers to a messed up girl? However, I didn't find that interesting because Faith was never more than a messed up girl who one day could hit a lot harder and so did. She never became a slayer. She never showed the excellent hunting ability Buffy showed (especially in that Dracula ep), that Kendra had, she didn't have the dreams, etc. Kendra was a slayer. She got Buffy in a way no one else did. It was always amazing to watch these two team up (all two times), to hear Kendra discuss being a slayer, watching them bond without wanting to. I always regretted Kendra dying, especially during the episodes when we got to go deeper inside Slayer mythology; Kendra would've loved that stuff. Those two could have had something amazing if the writers had recognized what they were writing; I think on some subconscious level they got it, thus Buffy gently cradling Kendra's body. That's still, imo, one of the most touching scenes from the show.

3. Charles/Henry: The Tudors needed these two to get it on even if I did love Anne/Henry so what if history is a little inaccurate?

4. Xena/Lao Ma: Never was a Xena/Gab shipper, I still don't get it after all these years
but these two had something so special

5. Katherine/Emily: It would be just too awesome if TVD had this sub-text
