 YouTube - Seth & Summer: "Im sweeping you off your feet"   I love that Summer says, "You are so cheesy, Cohen!" I hate serious cheese, like when the writers are trying to have a serious and ~epic scene but it's so cheesy. And I love that yeah, Seth is mega cheesy, but they have Summer say he's cheesy, so it's takes away from the cheese.  __________________

Exactly! Most teenage couples are so unrealistic! But I love that with SS, they just seemed so realistic to me!
They were handled really well. And it could have been so easy for the writers to mess that up since Seth and Summer are so opposite. And because at first Summer wasn't interested in Seth at all. But I love that she wasn't all of a sudden in love with him. And Seth had a backbone. He wouldn't let her walk all over him, he could ignore her or say no. Also the fact that Summer ignoring him wasn't completely forgotten really added to their realness. The writers didn't just put them together and block out how she used to ignore him. It was brought up multiple times. And that paired with their adorableness makes them one of the best TV couples, imo. __________________

I agree. I love how real they were. Through EVERY situation. Things got a littttttle weird in the 4th season, but they even pulled that off.

They seemed a little awkward in Season 4, but it was done in purpose. Summer lost her best friend, she felt like she lost herself, so she acted different. And I'm not just talking about the whole being an activist. But her personality was slightly changed. And so their relationship got a bit weird for a bit, but they were still the same old Seth/Summer.

Exactly Summer was lost at the start of Season 4. She was going through a lot.
It makes sense that things would change between them. The important thing is that they were able to make it through it. SS are one of the rare couples where we saw first love grow into mature true love. __________________
