Like some of you guys, I'm just happy that they have scenes again even if it is them fighting. I'm hoping that it leads to them making up. Plus Nate totally did the right thing by firing Serena.

OMG, the way that he's looking at her in that last gif. I'm fully convinced that there will never come a time when Nate is not in love with Serena.

I know I was probably just seeing things through NS-colored glasses, but Serena looked a little... disappointed when Lola said that Nate doesn't care if Lola is the "It Girl" of the UES. It was probably more b/c Serena really wanted Lola to be the "It Girl" but I chose to see it as Serena hearing that and thinking that she's no longer the girl that Nate pines after and wants. Does that even make sense? Like Serena is all these things that Nate basically doesn't give a sht about in a girlfriend.

Serena really did annoy me in this episode though. I feel like she claims she doesn't want to be the "It Girl" but then is all upset when she actually seems to be losing the title to Lola at the fashion show. I have a feeling that she's not going to like Lola getting the paps attention, but she set it all in motion so it's all her fault.

Was anyone else getting a serious "The Hurt Locket" flashbacks when Nate and Lola showed up at the party with different dates and were all jealous (well, pretending anyways). It made me long for the days of season 3 and wish that we had another coat closet scene.

I'm so happy to hear that I wasn't the only one who thought that. Her face just kind of fell when Lola said "Nate doesn't care about that kind of thing." I think the last couple of years, Serena has just kind of assumed that if she ever wanted to get back with Nate or Dan that when she was ready they'd be more than willing, but that definitely wasn't the case with Dan (thank God!) and she's thinking it might not be the case with Nate.

Although, like I've said before, I think Nate's always going to be in love with Serena so I do think he'd choose her.

I definetly thought that Serena was having some freudian-unexplained-jealousy there. What got me more was when she said to Lola that "You and Nate are gonna be the hottest couple in the UES" (just like they were once) and Lola was giving zero f***s and making sure Nate gave even less. I thought Serena was pretty jealous of Lola when she realized that Nola's relationship was still going strong and that they were working together, just like she and Nate used to. I don't know.

Serena was totally annoying and random this episode BUT it's giving me great vibes for NS somehow. Their stories keep connecting.
