Minister: Dearly beloved. We are gathered here today to celebrate the wedding of Alexander Michael Karev and Isobel Katherine Stevens. This is a sacred right. An ancient right. As Isobel and Alex prepare to join their lives, it is important to understand that everyone present has played a part in shaping their lives. And, will continue to play a vital role in their continuing future. And thus, we are here not only to witness their vows to each other, but to bestow upon them our blessing. And, now the couple will read their vows.

Izzie: Oh, we didn’t write anything.

Alex: No, wait. I have something I wanna say. Today’s the day my life begins. All my life I’ve been just me. Just a smart mouth kid. Today I become a man. Today I become a husband. Today I become accountable to someone other than myself. Today I become accountable to you. To our future. To all the possibilities that a marriage has to offer. Together, no matter what happens, I’ll be ready. For anything. For everything. To take on life, to take on love. To take on possibility and responsibility. Today Izzie Stevens, our life together begins. And I for one can’t wait.

Izzie: I love you. (kisses him)

Alex: Hurry up!

Izzie: Now?

I dont think and I wouldnt say there is right and wrong here,
just different opinions. We see them, love them and support them in very

I dont blame him, but what I saw was Izzie doing her best (yeah, maybe not what would be YOUR best, but her best) to make things work again.
She was willing to forgive him for cheating, which is a big deal for her.

I really thought I'm the only one here who really thought that Izzie tried hard to apologize and tried to make this marriage work again. I couldn't see any effort from Alex' side.

He didn't want to talk, he simply wanted her out of his life. He chose the easier way IMO.

Well, you can't really blame him for not trying. He had tried so hard after she left in 6.06, 6.08 and 6.09. He was tired and kinda gave up.

I understand him completely.
It's actually no use talking about this cuz I hope all of this stays in the past from now on.
Maybe it's shallow or even cruel of me to think that they're even now but I do see it that way. But now I genuinely think they have a greater chance of becoming a happy couple.

I understand both, Izzie and Alex. It's really hard to tell what will happen next. Because talking isn't helping anymore IMO, so maybe they both just need to let it go.

I feel the same way and I don't think it's cruel but I think Izzie needed a wake-up call so she doesn't take him for granted again.

was I mad because he sent her away? yes. Did I understand why? I did. And I understand that Iz would leave without a fight, but at the same time I'd wish she would've stayed.
