If you are like me you will have seen yesterdays episode and gone *omg squee* then rewatched this scene 1000 times untill you may have crossed into scary-stalker-territory. What struck me was how similiar the sex scene was to the 2x03 one, it felt like that scene's evil twin brother or something.

Things i noticed:

* It basically played out as alisha/simon walks in, touches simon/alisha, they are stunned, sex is had.

* Alisha's outfit is very similiar to her one 3 months earlier; the stripy nautical look + denim, Simon is also in black (side note: he looks so adorable in tee's).

* The future!simon sex was shot with lights on full blast, this was in comparitive darkness.

* Simon was very much in controll when he was superhoodie, in this version, Alisha is the one urging him on while he looks mildly stunned (aww lol).

* There were a lot of extreem close ups in the 2x03 scene, as a result it felt a lot more intimate, this time it was still cute but we didn't really get to see as much because we were further away from the characters.

Anyway the overall impression I got was that it was a role reversal. The balance of knowladge has switched dramatically between them in only a few episodes. Present!Simon is having to play catch up, in a way and he is always burdened by his not knowing. In 2x03 it was Alisha that felt she couldn't quite get a grasp of what was happening and what was going to happen. So by now she is a lot more comfortable with how things stand and the relationship as a whole because she is back in familiar territory. I'm sure Simon will get there too, but i feel like he's one of those people who have to know EVERYTHING before they can rest easy. Poor baby.
