3. I posted two videos for Great Gig in the Sky/Money, Symphony No. 5 and Farrucas I did this for a reason. For Great Gig, I thought it was important to see both the costumes. For Farrucas, though Worlds was the best performances, the Olympic atmosphere really showcases their talent and the spin at the end. For Mahler, same performance but I can't embed the Tudou video but it is CRUCIAL you watch that. The performance starts at 1:25 because that's the performance in the best quality. The Youtube one is there if you can't get the Tudou.

I know, I've never loved the ending to that program more! They didn't end with the music, but it didn't matter because it's not a competition, and his hand brings hers to his heart and holds it there as they stare soulfully into each other's eyes... it's at times like these I say, it's their own fault if people send them emails telling them to quit fooling themselves, LOL.

I also loved the feel of the program. Without the pressure of competition, I think it only added to how they make it look so relaxed and effortless and it just shines through that they love this dance. (And that's saying something, because even in competition it looked pretty relaxed and effortless, LOL.)

Was it the lighting giving Scott (in particular) a glow, or is he tanned from Monaco?

wow, I think that ending has a new vibe to it, so much more intense, lol probably just my wishful thinking....but pressing her hand to his heart is definitely a new part.....I agree, totally their own fault Meyers, I refuse to be held accountable... (just to clarify, not that I've ever contacted them!! but if I did, which I won't lol, that is exactly what I would say)

I love that shortened routine. All the essentials are there, and I agree, the ending was even better in this one.

Does anyone here know what they will do when the SOI tour is over? Do most of the skaters take the summer months off? I imagine some time is taken up planning new routines, but wouldn't they also have to do some training or practicing? Just wondering!

Taking a quick break from studying-- thank you soo much to whoever posted the SOI dance with Tessa and Scott!! I love it-- it's such a close second to the Olympics for me. Scott does seem very touchy, and they both just look SO relaxed, like this is exactly where they want to be, together. And Scott pressing Tessa's hand to his heart, that part killed me!! Defintely soulmates

In the past Tessa has taken summer classes at university and Scott has helped out at his family's skating camp.

Then again both of them have joked about hitting a beach somewhere this summer so who knows?

There was also a report that Shen and Zhao are organizing a new skating exhibition in China in August and that they had invited V+M among others.

If the rumors about new ice dance rules are right and they're going to compete next year, then they probably need to start thinking about the Finnstep (w/e that is!).
