Hello again and thank you all for the very warm welcome on the last thread, I like the name of this new one, ...Because it looks like they were born for each other :) and I just love how everyone seem to be in love with Tessa and Scott just like me :) I just started to watch them at the Olympics and I can´t seem to get enough of them.

This is the first time I´m a member of a thread like this so I’m still learning how this all works but I´m having a wonderful time, reading comments, seeing picture and video and just keeping up on the Virtue/Moir world :)

3. I posted two videos for Great Gig in the Sky/Money, Symphony No. 5 and Farrucas I did this for a reason. For Great Gig, I thought it was important to see both the costumes. For Farrucas, though Worlds was the best performances, the Olympic atmosphere really showcases their talent and the spin at the end. For Mahler, same performance but I can't embed the Tudou video but it is CRUCIAL you watch that. The performance starts at 1:25 because that's the performance in the best quality. The Youtube one is there if you can't get the Tudou. :)

You know reading all those articles about Tessa's injury and what happened in the last 2 years made me appreciate their Vancouver and Italy wins. It must have been really agonizing for both of them during that stage...not knowing what will happen in the future.

And what an amazing comeback for both of them. What I find really sweet is that Scott (and Tessa) never thought of practicing nor getting another partner. That is an unbreakable bond, if ever I saw one :love:

And watching all the videos now to vote ...

Watching them so overjoyed on the podium while belting out Oh Canada, it was all I could think of. There's an article that I can't find where Scott was talking about Tessa and you can see just how concerned he was for her. My only knowledge of her injury is what we've gotten in interviews and articles but I can just picture her trying to skate through pain (like any stubborn athlete) but not wanting to say anything. I'm sure Scott would've recognized that something was off, they've been skating together for so long. It's pretty easy to imagine a heartfelt "what if this is it?" discussion. Something about them during the comeback was just so vulnerable and the contrast to Vancouver makes it even more so.

Tiger33 - I like to think that their victories are sweeter and more heart felt because their journey was full of uncertainties - What Ifs as you say. :sigh:

This would be such a good prompt for a fanfiction for these two!! :) I am amazed at how dedicated they are to each other and what a strong bond they really do have..because I mean seriously, who else would skate with a sandbag and hockey sticks just because he doesn't want to skate with anyone but Tessa?? I really do think that's amazing.

I definitely agree with this.
