I think it's kind of ignorant for those that claim to be Ryan fans, yet want him to end up alone, because he can't be with Marissa. I'm sorry, but that is just pathetic. Why should he be alone when he's in love with a girl that makes him happy?

Exactly. Taylor made Ryan happy. I hate when people act petty and immature and say Ryan should be alone since Marissa is gone. That's ridiculous. He's in love with Taylor, and she makes him happy, and honestly, Marissa was the kind of girl who would accept that. She loved Ryan too, she wouldn't want him to be alone, so why would fans?

To be fair, I don't know how happy I'd be if I was a RM shipper, after the writers killed any chance of them ever happening again. However, ignorance and stubborness towards Ryan being happy with another girl is a little silly.

Well, it has got to suck to be a R/M fan, considering they were dedicated to their pairing for three years, but to say Ryan should never find happiness, and kill himself on Marissa's grave is just downright pathetic. Not to mention a tad bit emo.

I can't understand wanting Ryan to be alone and miserable for the rest of his life just because Marissa died. Even if I wasn't a Ryan/Taylor shipper. I mean, he was so young when she died. Is he supposed to mourn forever?

Actually, I was a R/M shipper until this season. Then I saw how different Ryan was with Taylor and I just fell in love with them. Who knew Ryan could actually smile and be happy?

It makes sense to me now though, because really even though I liked R/M and S/S, my favorite moments on the show were always the family ones. I love Ryan with the Cohens, he's just happy with them and less broody. Now, that's what I see when he's with Taylor.

Now looking back on the whole series, I think I still ship R/M season one, but that's it. But R/T own me. They are just

Oh, and I refuse to think anything other then the idea that R/T got a happily ever after.

I feel empathy for them, but obviously can't feel horrible about it, because, well, I got my way. I know that sounds juvenile, but it's true.

I think it sucks that they lost one half of their couple, but hey, things happen. For the better. Look how happy Taylor made him. I think it was the happiest he's ever been, and he really deserves that.

In Marissa's letter, she was wanting them to say goodbye anyway, so TR was kind of inevitable.
