Heather is a nice name too. Not sure I'll have any kids, but if I had a girl Scarlett would be on my list of names to choose from.

Yesterday I was at the shops and this woman was yelling "Scarlett, come back here now!" to her little girl.

I haven't heard of anyone being called Scarlett for ages, although it is a pretty name.

I love this couple when I was little I tried to get my mother to change the name of our house to Tara but she wouldn't and I wanted twin girls called Scarlett and Bonnie,
I have read both books and watched both films and I must admit I really enjoyed Scarlett its not as good as GWTW but still very watchable I do love a happy ending,

I the book of Gone With the Wind, it's the sort of thing that I could read over and over again. The film is fantastic and no one could have played Scarlett better than Vivien Leigh.

Really great pictures of Scarlett and Rhett, especially the small b/w one.

Aren't black and white pictures in general just the best? They are often so powerful and beautiful.

Oh and the poster in the first post is hanging on the wall in the café I usually visit. The owners have great taste indeed.

Saw this all the way down on page 3

Scarlett and Rhett are my fave movie couple all time!!
Ofcourse the first movie/book is the best..Although I did like Scarlett, mainly because I wanted Scarlett and Rhett to end up together and I was always curious as to what would happen to them further on in their lives!
Nobody could beat Vivien Leigh and Clark Gable though!
Gable is SO incredibly charming...

Oh..i LOVE this couple! I've only seen the first movie. (I didn't even KNOW there was a sequel! silly me!)

Anyways, Rhett and Scarlett have got to be the ultimate couple in movie history! I just loved watching two people who seemed to hate each other fall in love. And I loved what Rhett said "I want you to say the same things that you said to Ashley to me. Tell me that you love me." That's not the direct quote, and it's only from my memory, but I just loved that scene. *sigh*

Hey!

I'm a big fan of GWTW and I love Scarlett and Rhett, I mean how can you not??

I've read both books and seen the first film. I didn't know that there was a second film, could anyone tell me a bit more about it because I would love it get it?

I liked the first book better then the second, I thought in the second book that in places the characters were weak and uncharacteristic.

But yeah Scarlett and Rhett are my all time favorite couple.

Taylor

I just saw GWTW for the first time about 2 days ago. I loved it sooo much!! Scarlett has a pretty confusing love life but it's fun to see how it turns out. The cliffhanger ending wasn't my favorite but, such is life. We don't always know how tomorrow will turn out but we just keep on keepin on ;-) Scarlett is a real warrior of a woman and an inspiration to me. But, most of all, The wife of ashley (i forgot her name :-S) is the most inspirational character. Her unconditional love of Scarlett and everyone else is so awesome! Well, Good thread choice ;-) ciao
