I haven't watched that breakup scene since it aired, I forgot how heartbreaking it was. How devastated and confused Finn was It sucks because Rae didn't even explain to him why and now that you mention it, I really do hope we get a sense of closure for that in the final 3 eps

Nope, I don't think so. They have finished filming so I assume it's in post-production now. All we know that it's airing in the summer, but no dates just yet.

I actually loved the breakup scene so I've watched it a lot because I feel like it showed just how deep their feelings ran ... Rae was a wreck afterwards and Finn was heartbroken and confused. She ironically said that she had to break things off before it became too serious but I felt that she was still too late because they were both in deep by then.

Finn looked so sad when Rae commented negatively on the love note, because it meant that it didn't come from her.

Season 3 is going to make us all messes, I can tell already.

I agree. I just am glad to see Finn and Rae ( plus the gang) back on the small screen one more time.

I'm really glad there'll be enough screentime for a proper closure for RF and all the characters in general. Hopefully the 3 hours won't go to waste because I did feel like parts of Season 2 were really unnecessary especially concerning Liam.

I want to see RF hashing out all their unresolved issues over Rae breaking up with him and never telling him why ... he never knew that it was because she couldn't get over her body image issues and I think that's such a shame. He was never anything but supportive of her and always wanting to share her burden but sadly, she never really opened to him in that respect. So I'd really like to see that addressed before the show ends.
