Wait I don't get it. What exactly did it say about giving a statement? Ryan and Rachel seem like very private people so I can't see them saying anything. I believe at one point they did date, but no longer do.

doubt they ever dated, and theyre arent private, if they were they never wouldve kissed.
and ex's wouldnt kiss like that.

I got to watch the award last night and may I just say hot hot hot hot hot, so fking hot. It beats everything from the Dustin Hoffman winning an award (well, that one is special) and those Tom-Katie stupid moments. God, I'm falling in love with these two all over again.

degrassi Rachel/Ryan are very private concerning their personl lives. They rarely ever talk about their person lives. They are much more private about those sorts of things than most other celebs. I have heard and read other place that Rachel/Ryan supposedly dated while filming the movie. Neither one has ever confirmed or denied it. I think at this point they are probably just pretty good friends.

If they had some sort of horrible break up I could understand them not wanting to kiss like that. I have a few ex's I would NEVER kiss like that but I have a few that I'm still good friends with that I would probably still kiss like that(especially if I won a "Best Kiss" award with them!). I definetly think there is some sexual attraction between them but at this point I think they're probably just friends.
