Period Drama Couples- From Darcy/Elizabeth to Gilbert/Anne.
Period Drama couples A place to talk about some of your favortie couples from Period dramas. Pictures Mr Darcy and Elizbeth- Pride and Prejudice Jane Eyre and Mr. Rochester-Jane Eyre Emma and Mr Knightly- Emma John and Margaret- North and South Anne and Gilbert - Anne of Green Gables Ive been watching alot of Period Dramas latley and thought I would start a thread on them. Yesterday I watched the BBC adaptation of Jane Eyre. It really was one of my favorties. This is my third different version of it. I never can get to old of Jane and Mr Rochester. I love how Rochester is trying to get some emotions out of Jane by asking if he should marry Blanche. Its to bad that he was married and that Jane left and they lost a year from each other, and Mr Rochesters eyesite, but Im glad she came back. Im thinking of Tomorrow watching North and South. I love the realationship between Margaret and John. __________________

My favorite is also Jane and Mr Rochester, but I like the 1997 version with Samantha Morton and Ciarán Hinds better. I'm not that fond of the books, though

ooh! Period Drama couples are so good!
I love Jane and Mr Rochester and also Emma and Mr Knightly but my favourites have got to be Elizabeth and Mr Darcy. In every version I've seen and especially the book, those two are absolutely amazing. __________________

I love Elizabeth and Mr Darcy. I've just recently started getting into Period Dramas, but I really love them. I have an odd fascination with the way everybody talks.

My favorites are all the ones you mention Julie expect I dont think I have seen Jane Eyre. I really like Mansfield Park. Fanny/Edmund were really cute. |
