"Can't we work together a little?" I pleaded. "I mean, didn't Athena and Poseidon ever cooperate?"
Annabeth had to think about it. "I guess... the chariot," she said tentatively. "My mom invented it, but Poseidon created horse out of the crests of waves. So they had to work together to make it complete."
"Then we can cooperate, too. Right?"

"So if the gods fight," I said, "will things line up the way they did with the Trojan war? Will it be Athena versus Poseidon?"
She put her head against the backpack Ares had given us, and closed her eyes. "I don't know what my mom will do. I just know that I'll fight next to you."
"Why?"
"Because you're my friend, Seaweed Brain. Any more stupid questions?"

I really can't wait for the movie, I hope they have lots of good scenes. And Logan and Alex are so pretty

Reading the first book, I when Percy is like, "If we can't stop this war, it will be like during the Trojan War, right? Athena against Poseidon" and Annabeth is like, "I don't care who the gods ally themselves with. Whatever side you're on, that's the side I'm fighting with"

Ohh lucky, I don't know when I'll watch it yet.
I just finished the third book and it makes me lol that the Goddess of Love ships Percy/Annabeth. I love it! Also, every time Annabeth talks about Luke and how he can be "saved", Percy wants to smash something

Actually, I'm now going to see this afternoon. I'm excited. Opening day.

I really want to read the other books, but I asked the bookstore here and they told me they are going re-issue the books because of the movies.

Maybe they'll change the covers with pictures of the actors!
I'm jealous of you, I just found out they're releasing it a month late where I live. Ohh, now that the movie is out I'm guessing we're gonna get more shippers in this thread! I hope.
