Yep, so pathetic
 Though you know she DID say she loved Sawyer, when she offered to die for him and do anything they want, etc. "Yes, I love him, I love him!" - amazing, yet, said out of pity, totally. But wait... if she said this only because he was about to be killed than we can suspect that she said ILY to Jack out of pity too, knowing that he was about to die. So what do we have? Kate saying she loves Sawyer AND being willing to die for him and Kate saying that she loves Jack and leaving him dying alone with a dog.__________________
