I saw The Hunger Games as well. I loved it! But I'm also disappointed in how much they simplified Peeta's character and arc in the film - as well as downplayed Haymitch's relationship with them. Cant blame you there, I still havent watched all the Twilight movies, only saw the first two and just dont care for them.

Hmmm I was actually happy that they didn't try to pull off that they turned the dead tributes into the mutts. I don't see how they'd pull it off on camera without being really cheesy and silly. So I was happy that they left that part out.

Oh don't even get me started on Twilight My roommate and I started watching them on Showtime on demand recently (while in a.....different state of mind ) and we like to laugh and scoff at how ridiculous they are. But I've since decided that everything about that series actually personally offends me.

There are no similarities between THG and Twi except they are appealing to youngsters and both have triangles. THG is quality

I read all three THG books and while I agree that it's much better than Twilight, I still don't think the hype is justified. I don't really get it. There are books out there that are far better written and which deserve 345 times the praise IMO.
