OK, Found Something ...

So there was a statement from Costner's publicist to OMG! Canada. Here is an excerpt, in italics.

Kevin Costner is remaining guarded about his feelings over Whitney Houston's death.

The 57-year-old actor is arguably responsible for turning Houston into a Hollywood heavyweight when he hand-picked her to play opposite him in the 1993 film "The Bodyguard." However, Costner so far has not made any public comments about the late singer, who died this weekend at the age of 48.

Though his manager told omg! Canada in an email that Costner "holds Whitney in very high esteem," the actor has decided not to issue a public statement about Houston's passing in order to keep his relationship with her private.

So it seems that although KC obviously had very strong feelings for Whitney Houston, he wanted the relationship to be kept private. And so would Whitney, to be honest. That makes the DigitalSpy story a fake. And Costner's management team probably doesn't want to bother pushing for a retraction of the DigitalSpy story b/c it would complicate the situation and muddle up that beautiful tribute he delivered at her funeral.

As for that TMZ video ... well, they tend to title videos in grossly misleading ways, just to get you to click and watch. I haven't found that yet, and don't expect to.

BUT the Rachel <3 Frank storyline is cute, so have at it, ladies!
