I think the arc is that he’s kind of sealed himself off from the world. I think he has no…no human connection. His father passed away, he’s been living in Hong Kong, hiding, and I think he’s kind of closed himself off from the world. And I think when Cassie comes into his life, at first he does kind of reject her, he does kind of treat her a bit coldly. And I think through the course of the movie there is a bond, there is a connection, and I think that’s what he ends up fighting for.

i have not seen this movie, but from what i've gathered, these two seem to be the popular couple. which is kinda interesting since she's, you know, really young.

Oh sign me up! I loved this couple. They had so much chemistry! It's so obvious they loved each other - and I think they were only just realizing that by the end.

Ok, she was young but she was wise beyond her years.

I am so hoping that they make a sequel taking place a couple of years later where that won't be an issue anymore.

I was surprised there wasn't a thread already. I know that basically everyone who's seen the film came out shipping these two, despite their age.

Sark and Darco Lover, I'd definitely reccomend the film. It's very entertaining.

Sweetsorrow, I'm hoping for a sequel too. I know the screenwriter has, like, two more films planned, but it's Summit's decision whether they choose to greenlight it. Plus, all the actors said they're interested in a sequel so yay.

I would so love to see their relationship progress as she gets older. How Nick handles her getting older.

Ooh yes! Me too. It would be wonderful to see Nick struggling with his feelings for her as she grows up. I just hated his 'relationship' with Kira. It was so boring and really only seemed to be thrown in for the hell of it.

I didn't know the screenwriter had two more movies planned! If everyone is on board, Summit will come around eventually I think.

The "thing" with Kira was a joke haha. It was redic. Were they supposed to be ~epic~ or something? Coz that was a big fail.

God, I did not like Kira. She was just...ugh. I honestly feel she used Nick. And Camilla Belle has yet to prove herself to me as a good actress. The only film I like her in is in the Quiet with Elisha Cuthbert, and she only has, like, four lines.

Kira and Nick had ZERO chemistry, no joke. I couldn't believe they were actually made to be a pair. Besides, Kira/Camilla looks 15!! hahahaha I was all WTF SHE'S SUPPOSED TO BE HIS LOVE INTEREST BUT SHE'S 15!1! (and then my reasoning was: if she's 15 then why can't Cassie be his love interest??//)

Turned out she isn't lmao. Oh well...

I wish Cassie was a little bit older. Just a tad. The age difference isn't all that huge, it's the fact she's only 13, SAD.

Yeah, 13 and 23 is a difference, one that can't easily be ignored. But it won't be a problem when she gets older, into her teens.

And Camilla...I don't even think Camilla and Chris got a long well; in all the interviews I've heard, Chris just goes on and on about Dakota, but rarely -- if ever -- mentions Camilla.

I'd really hate for the people involved to build this chemistry between two people that needs to be furthered and explored in future stories, but not continue their stories.

As one reviewer said, it'd be like reading a really great book and not being able to finish it. It'd be a shame.

^^ Same here! It's not the age difference at all (12 years at best? Not a big deal at all) but just a year or two older for Cassie would have been nice -- but I don't care, I still love them. lol. I guess they did that because they didn't expect for people to see that type of chemistry between Nick and Cassie. Too bad... we do.

And yeah, I didn't think the actress playing Kira did that great a job either. Is it bad that I'm hoping she gets killed off in a second movie?

Does it say anywhere Nick's exact age? I always thought he was around 20-22.
