Being dark can have a lot of meanings and I think Daryl's touched on all of them. I don't think he's ever had too much of a problem killing humans but maybe that's me.

I don't think the either know what they really want to do with Daryl and/or they do know and they just like to keep within a certain thing because that is apparently what the fans liked. I don't know though.

I feel pretty sure that they don't but as long as he gets his kills and maybe gets to ride his motorcycle every once in a while it's all good.

What was the point then? Maybe I just haven't been following the show so it's stupidity seems extra silly to me atm but I'm still giggling about 7 years for what seems to be a few minutes of nothing.
