How awesome would it have been to have seen her actually have to use some hunting and tracking skills she learned from Daryl? Maybe to get back to the group. Plus it would have made that "pretty soon I won't need you..." line look pretty smart. Like the writers actually knew what they were doing and looked at the long term game of the show.

Kay - I so agree with this. She didn't get to use her newly learned skills at all so it feels like such a waste. I also agree I feel like her line could have been some great foreshadowing if she had actually got to use what she learned.

Exactly. It also feels like a waste because there was no payoff whatsoever to every single thing that happened between Beth and Daryl and Beth on her own. And technically the rapey hospital is still standing as well, so y'all protagonists suck to top it off.

They really do. It's ****ing weird and pretty messed up that a lot of the bad guys just end up hanging out. Like also wasn't Negan suppose to be the preeminent bad guy of the show and now he's apparently just loitering around? I don't get how Glenn fans aren't livid. NO. PAYOFF. TO. ANYTHING.

If I didn't stop watching when Beth was killed off, I definitely would've stopped when Negan came around. How anyone can actually like his murderous, raping ass is beyond me.

Heather, it does feel like what was the point? But it's obvious that the majority of things that happen on that show don't have a point so.... It was an awesome moment though so we got lucky in that sense I guess.

I get having a bad guy who does those things but what the ****'s the point of him just hanging around and slowly petering out when beloved characters die stupid deaths.

If you want your show to be dark make the bad guys have gruesome deaths too. I think Game of Thrones is pretty good at that and look how well things are still going for them.
